Ukraine’s Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv opened in mid-March as the brand’s first hotel in Eastern Europe. The classically elegant hotel, offering 258 rooms and suites, sits on the capital city’s Dnipro River, which runs through three countries including Russia and Belarus. The brand’s luxury Fairmont Gold accommodations offer club-level rooms and suites with expansive views of the river, as well as a private reception desk and an exclusive guest lounge on the 11th floor. All guests have access to the property’s 6,900-square-foot spa, which includes a beauty salon, nearby tennis club with indoor and outdoor facilities, and the Royal Kyiv Golf Club, which is within a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Rates begin at about $900 a night.
